Dana Cornelius (5'9") was raised in Wilmette, Illinois. She attended New Trier High School and went on to study English and Psychology at Mount St. Mary's College. She started her career in entertainment when she was 22 years old, first as a stand-up comic then a few years later as a literary agent (WGAw). Feeling unsuccessful as an entrepreneur she then worked all facets of business in corporate America learning about how various business models operate to stay profitable. Leaving a lucrative desk job to care full-time for her father who suffered from Alzheimer's she spent time studying matters that fueled her spiritually and got certified in plant-based nutrition and yoga. Life responsibilities pulled her away from marriage and family pursuits until she found herself "orphaned." At the advice of a double-Emmy award-winning Director, she rebooted her career in entertainment this time as an actress. In less than nine months, she booked over 36 films, commercials, or TV projects. Her first book, You Were Taller Over the Phone, was written and published at the suggestion of dozens of friends who followed her on social media. She hopes to write a follow-up manuscript, as well as a book on how to treat Alzheimer's Disease with food.
