He is a life long Corrections Professional, serving 36 years (as of 2014) in correctional institutions. He served as the warden for San Quentin State Prison, as well as Soledad State Prison. He now works as a Corrections Consultant, and provides investigative services. He also serves as an expert witness to a variety of cases.His only role in film was in "Blood in Blood out: Bound by Honor," which he played a crucial role as the warden of San Quentin State Prison; a position he was then filling.
