Born and raised on the north shore of eastern Long Island, Dan excelled in athletics all through High School. It was in his senior year that Dan was bitten by the theatre bug, eventually moving to NYC to attend The American Academy of Dramatic Arts where he received the Spencer Tracy Scholarship and Charles Jehlinger Award for acting, the institution's highest honor. After graduating the Academy, Dan immediately began working in Off and Off-Off Broadway theatre all over NYC. As an actor, Dan has been seen in tons of commercials. National, regional, cable, if you can drink it, eat it or drive it, Dan tried to get you to buy it. His work in theatre and independent films has taken him all over the city and around the world with the obligatory Law & Order episode's thrown in for kicks. 30 years later Dan is still working in theatre, mentoring young writers while helping them get their words off the paper and onto the stage.A curiosity in Parapsychology and an interest in Civil War history led Dan to researching haunted battlefield locations. His research into investigative techniques and equipment along with his research into hauntings and the many theories behind them combined with a levelheaded approach has made Dan one of the more popular media consultants in the tri-state area. Dan has appeared on all the NYC news channels and morning shows as well as, "The Late Show with David Letterman," Spike TV and the Sci Fi Channel. He's been profiled in many books and magazines including, "Ghosts of Manhattan," and, "The New Yorker". Dan is currently an on-camera, "expert," for the Travel Channel's weekly program, "Paranormal Caught on Camera," which is currently shooting its 3rd season.
