Dan Lestrade is a screenwriter, director, musician and photographer. He developed an early interest in theatre - at age twelve he was already looking over the shoulder of his great uncle's work as a theatre director in Vienna. It was his great uncle who encouraged Lestrade's first steps towards directing and he gradually began to rewrite theatre classics into a style of his own. Since 2006 he has spent an increasing amount of time abroad, where he deepened his interest in photography that gradually became his preferred means of expression. In the years following he has worked as a nude and fashion photographer. Even though static images can also be uncannily expressive, his desire to make films aroused. Wanting to create something more intimate and story driven, Lestrade would go on to serve as a creator, producer, director and screenwriter for numerous Music Videos and Short Films. Lestrade is currently working on the screenplay of his debut full length feature film 'Femme Fatale'. Show less «
