Dan Bertolini was born and raised in the suburbs of Burlington, Ontario before moving to the big city to study Commerce and Finance at the University of Toronto. After completing his degree and working in various industries Dan realized a career in business wasn't his cup of tea, and he has been pursuing acting, training both locally and abroad, ever since.Venturing overseas, Dan attended the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, England, where he was immersed in the works of Shakespeare and the English approach to acting. RADA provided an intensive theatre training program, and after much sampling Dan discovered that his cup of tea after all was just that, a cup of tea.Dan's love for acting encompasses a multitude of roles, from the silly and slapstick, to the sly and sinister. He has trained and performed at The Second City, where he discovered his passion for comedic acting and began to develop his physical comedy skills. Most recently, Dan was featured in the indie flick "Past Tense" as the troubled and disturbed Rooney Wagner, one of several indie films Dan has had the pleasure of working on.Dan is an avid runner, enjoys traveling, and has a passion for books. His favorite genres include science fiction, fantasy and mystery; with classic authors Agatha Christie, Jane Austen, J.R.R. Tolkien, and George R.R. Martin topping his list of must reads. Also a big fan of Star Wars and Marvel comics, having grown up on both, and a more recent Whovian, Dan is hopeful he will be part of many science fiction productions in his acting future! Show less «
