Dale was born in Rio de Janeiro, the son of an American diplomat. He lived in six countries before he turned 14: Brazil, Uruguay, El Salvador, the US, Guyana and Costa Rica. He graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Political Science, appearing in several student plays and musicals. After spending twenty years as a computer programmer, he became a stay-at-home dad. During this time he returned to his first love, voice acting. He has trained with some of the best voice acting coaches in the country, including Nancy Wolfson and Bob Bergen. In addition to stage and on-camera acting jobs, Dale's voice has been heard in countless commercials and industrial spots, animation and audiobooks. In 2018 he and his voice-acting colleague Lyssa Graham created the political satire podcast BS de Résistance. In addition to co-writing and acting in the series, Dale also edits and mixes the audio and writes the lyrics to the songs. "The Eagle and the Bear" from Episode 1.2 was featured on the Dr. Demento Show and reached #1 on his countdown in July 2018. Show less «
