Cyann Ribeiro is a Cape Verdean/American Actress, best known for her roles in several national TV commercials, including Frito Lays and IHOP commercials. She also can be seen in the on-screen adaptation of "The Man in 3B", a novel written by Carl Weber that was featured in Oprah's book club. She began her love of performing in elementary school, where she started singing in talent shows, as well as performing the National Anthem, for varsity basketball games.During her high school years, she decided to focus on developing other talents as well, and having always been inspired by Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Tyra Banks, and Aaliyahs' career, she attended John Casablanca's Modeling and Career Center. While there, she learned photography make-up application, how to walk the runway, how to work the camera and took her first acting classes.Almost 9 years later, she decided to move to LA, to further pursue acting. Having worked in the hotel industry for 5 years now as a concierge, she had them transfer her to a Los Angeles hotel in the same brand. She immediately started taking classes at Lesly Kahn Studios, as well as Hot House Improv with John Thies.Most recently, she has signed with Avant Artists for TV, Film, Commercials, Voice over and Print.She takes scene study classes, as well as individual coaching with actor/teacher, Chris Game. She has been working with him for over 5 years and she values his teaching style the most.In 2017, she booked a national commercial for Booking.com, as well as a print ad for Seaworld.
