Craig Watkinson was born and raised in New Jersey. He attended the BFA program at Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, then toured Europe with the Shoestring Players before moving to New York City.There he acted in plays, soap operas (including a recurring role on One Life to Live), independent films, and commercials. He later moved to Los Angeles, where he has worked in several films (including Judgment Night, Undiscovered, and Learning to Surf) and television shows (including Criminal Minds, Big Love, and Without a Trace)."The Cure" (2003) marked his debut feature as a writer/director/producer. The film won International Best Dramatic Motion Picture at the "Twisted Sinema Film Festival" in Toronto, Canada, and Craig won their International Best Actor in a Dramatic Motion Picture award as well. It was also awarded a prize at the Memphis Digital Arts Film Festival and won Craig "Best Actor - Director's Choice" at the LA MiniDV Festival.After splitting his time between acting and teaching for over 7 years, Craig returned to acting full-time in the summer 2013. Since then, he's appeared in over fifteen projects, most notably leading roles in the sci-fi drama "Borrowed Time," Justin Grizzoffi's buddy road comedy "Speedwagon," and Chris Lilly's dramedy web series "Just Us Guys."
