Corinne Jayaweera is a seasoned independent producer and director with a passion for producing both nonfiction and fiction content that can impact change. Her prosocial documentary series Documented America has been screened at multiple film festivals, including the American Pavilion at Cannes and before the US Congress. Over the last decade, she's worked on a range of projects, including documentaries, PSAs, feature films, web series, and music videos. She's a natural collaborator and enjoys working with crew members to execute a creative vision that celebrates the contributions of each person on set.In addition to her career in film, Corinne works as an event planner and consultant for corporate and private clients. Previously, she worked in the academic arena, coordinating a mentorship program and entrepreneurial business plan competition at the Drucker School of Management at Claremont Graduate University. She's lived abroad in Japan, Sri Lanka, Argentina, and most recently, Russia, and she loves engaging with people from diverse backgrounds and bringing her cultural expertise to the forefront of her work. Corinne lives in California with her husband and children and enjoys country line dancing, white water rafting, and taking long walks in the woods.
