Corey Loranger was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and holds a diploma of Broadcast Journalism from Lethbridge College.Corey Loranger is one of Edmonton's most talented young hosts and actors.At age 20, he was chosen by Radio-Canada as one of Canada's top 10 brightest young French radio talents. He then went on to co-create and host the award winning Radio-Canada program "Ceci est un TEST!".From 2007 until 2013, Corey was the official Game Host of the WHL's Edmonton Oil Kings. He was then the official Game Host for the Edmonton Oilers until 2015. He has also hosted for Grey Cup Festival, Edmonton Eskimos, World Junior Hockey Championships, FC Edmonton and almost every notable concert stage in Edmonton and across the country.As a cinema actor, he was awarded the Special Jury Prize for Rising Star Actor by the EIFF for his work in "The Pharmacist" which also won the festival's Peoples' Choice Award, the Nevada Film Festival's Best Feature Award, and Nominee for Best Feature Film at the Rosies. He also worked alongside MTV nominated actress Mia Kirshner in the feature "I Think I Do", and played a lead role in "Drawing Home".He is also one of the founders and a producer for one of Western Canada's few francophone production companies, Far West Productions. Producers of a 10-episode national TV series on food truck culture across the country (hosted and produced by Corey), and the first professional fiction-based francophone web series shot in Alberta.Corey is also a winner of the US International Film & Video Festival Award and a 3-time AMPIA nominated voice actor and narrator as well as a 2-time Best TV Host nominee.
