Conrad Kemp is a South African actor of British and Afrikaans descent. He trained in Ireland at the Gaiety School of Acting. He has performed to critical acclaim in Ireland, the United Kingdom, South Africa and the USA, including principle roles on both the West End in London (Stones in his Pockets, 2006) and Broadway in New York (Romeo and Juliet, 2013).His screen-work includes starring opposite Forest Whitaker and Orlando Bloom in Jerome Salle's award-winning Zulu, which closed the 66th Cannes Film Festival. He also played Evan Hunter opposite Toby Jones, Sienna Miller and Imelda Staunton in the Golden Globe and Emmy-nominated The Girl.He is based in Norway, but travels extensively to perform.He has written for theatre twice to critical acclaim ('They' for 'Soft' in 2009 and 'The Clown and Mrs Fell' in 2010). He is also a trustee for the charity 'Dramatic Need', which operates in South Africa and Rwanda.
