Born in Uxbridge, Ontario, a small town near Toronto, Colin became interested in acting and the arts when a friend suggested he take a local acting class to overcome shyness. From the very first class, the flood gates were opened and Colin was hooked on the craft. This also gave way to other arts-oriented interests such as drawing, sketching and screenplay writing.In a town where sport and agriculture were the dominant areas of study, Colin didn't fully realize his passion for acting until he was accepted into Humber College's theater program, dubbed Theater Humber. There he started the never ending journey of honing his craft. He performed in such theater productions as Sam Shepard's Buried Child, Shakespeare's Macbeth and Hamlet, John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men, Tennessee William's Camino Real, Anton Chekhov's The Seagull and Harold Pinter's The Birthday Party to name a few.After graduating, Colin ventured into the film and television industry and has stayed there since. His love of the medium and the collaborative effort in making motion pictures is what has kept him there.He has appeared in many film and television productions including The Unleashed with Caroline Williams (Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, Days of Thunder) and Malcolm McDowell (A Clockwork Orange, The Artist), Tapped Out with Michael Biehn (Aliens, The Terminator, Tombstone) and Martin Cove (The Karate Kid Parts 1, 2, 3, Rambo: First Blood Part 2), Dead Genesis, Antisocial, Anchor Baby, Reign and Murdoch Mysteries to name a few.Colin is also an accomplished musician having written, recorded and toured with former band Waiting For Grace, who shared the stage with many bands including State of Shock, Hail the Villain, Social Code, and Canadian Idol finalist Drew Wright. A follow-up album to Waiting For Grace's The Verga Effect released in 2009, is in the works.Colin writing credits include The Grave Generation web series and Night School, both of which he is in the process of producing with his team at Room 13 Pictures.
