Most recently, Colby Hebert performed as "Carey" in Lifetime's new feature film The Neighbor. He was also involved in the following productions: The Runner starring Nicolas Cage, Don't Mess With Texas starring Reese Witherspoon and Pitch Perfect 2. Additionally, he has worked on the set of NCIS: New Orleans. The nature of this work included background acting in the furtherance of his goal to expose himself to the working conditions and learn more about functioning and interacting on production sets.In furtherance of his training and preparation for more advanced roles and production related work, Colby Hebert has undergone formal training under the guidance of actor Michael Papajohn. This includes attending acting coach Tim Phillips' "New Orleans Intensives" acting workshops. Additionally, Colby Hebert has diligently studied the works of Larry Moss and intends to move to Los Angeles and train with him.Colby Hebert was born and raised in New Iberia, Louisiana as part of the elaborate and versatile Cajun culture, which includes immersion and exposure to connections to the French language as well as a strong culinary passion. This diverse array of the Cajun culture spanning into the realms of music, food and language has developed and molded him into the artist that he is. He has an immense passion and respect for his culture. This rich musical culture has inspired him to develop and practice skills in the guitar as well as writing and performing Hip-Hop music, among other hobbies. He also aspires to learn the accordion, as played in traditional Cajun music. Colby Hebert considers the institution of the family to be the most important and sacred thing in life. He also thoroughly enjoys traveling and exposing himself to the richness of other cultures, such as a recent trip he took to Italy.Colby Hebert is best known for his tendency to absolutely immerse himself in projects that he is passionate about.
