Codi was born in Smyrna, Georgia where she grew up, as well as, spending part of her childhood living in Houston, Texas. Her creative talents started as a child, when she was in her first commercial at the age of 7. She also discovered her writing abilities around this time, when she wrote her first children's book, that was later implemented into her schools library. Suffering from shyness through her childhood, to the point of turning down a modeling contract and being elected by the student body as the "quitest" girl in the 8th grade. Codi found herself propelled into the theatrical world in high school after daring herself to overcome her shyness by auditioning for a school play. Not only did it help with her shyness, but by excelling through theatre and receiving numerous standing ovations, Codi discovered that acting was her path in life. She also became her high schools Debate champion and was offered to go to Washington, DC. to debate nationally. With her new found confidence, Codi also fell into her activist side, when she stood up to a prominent political figure concerning gay rights at the age of 16. She later moved to Los Angeles, when she was cast in a film and national TV show after only 3 months back on the acting scene. Codi attended Atlanta College of Art and the Alliance Theatre of Atlanta. Show less «
