I need theatre, for my equilibrium, because in theatre the actors don't care so much about image, about celebrity, you are more independent. There is not the narcissism, maybe, that you find in cinema. Also, even if the play is great, every day in theatre you have to question everything, because the audience is new every day. I love that. What excited me about Angèle et Tony (2010) was that it was a very physical role. You have to play her with your whole body. I prefer physical exhaustion over mental fatigue any day. Show less «

I don't have a career plan. I'm not strategic enough. It's a question of being asked. And I haven't had the opportunity yet to make a big mainstream thing. It would be funny, maybe. But you know, when you do theatre, and little films, you're not famous, you don't have these propositions. It's normal, it's a question of money most of the time, they need somebody who brings money to the project. Show less «

The food in restaurants is greasy, with sauces. I am very organic, I eat a lot of seeds. At home in the morning, I eat muesli with a banana. At noon, I mix a little bit of all the seeds I can find. I love quinoa. It's great, it cooks like rice and is better than caviar. When my boyfriend's sick I will make him eat my seeds all the time! Show less «

Alix Delaporte was very directive at first, she told me: "Angèle wouldn't be like this, Angèle would be like that..." I replied: "Your Angèle doesn't exist anymore. Angèle is me." It's the same for Juliette, from Trois mondes (2012). The character exists only on paper, if it's embodied, it's through my body and my emotions, so it's me. Show less «

You never know at first when you do something, you don't make plans about its success, we really did Angèle et Tony (2010) with our heart and we really did it the way we wanted to do it, with little budget, so it's great. And you can see that in France, the films that were successful at the awards were not because they were made to a formula, they weren't planned that way. Show less «
