Clifford's TV appearances include: A Very Open Prison, Brookside, Emmerdale, Drop the Dead Donkey, Poirot, Cold Feet, Pork Pie, The Bill, Eastenders, Coronation Street, Comic Relief Eastenders Special, Crime File, Trial and Retribution II and IV, Uncle Jack, Eyes Down and the BAFTA award winning Middlemarch for the BBC.He trained as a Director at GITIS The Russian Academy of Dramatic Art in Moscow and has directed at The Oldham Coliseum, The Old Rep and Crescent Theatres Birmingham, The Tabard and Jermyn St Theatres, London, and recently the world premiere of The Forest By Kevin Fegan at The Lowry, Salford. His production of 'Three Steps to Heaven' at Watford Palace Theatre broke box office records and received wide critical acclaim. As a film Director, BBC training Academy, Shooting on location with the edit in mind, Simon Philips Directors Guild of Great Britain (DGGB), Advanced tools of Directing the Camera, Herbie Wise DGGB ,Directing Actors for the Camera , Leavesden Studios Skillset, Screen East, (DGGB), Working with DV Cameras. He has directed several short films some of which have been screened at BAFTA and at BUSHO, the Budapest short film festival 2012.Clifford is also an accomplished Voice Over Artist.
