Clemence Verniau is a French actress born in Paris but she spent her childhood and adolescence in foreign countries as Italy (Rome), China (Nanjing), Indonesia (Jakarta) and New-Zealand (Wellington).At 19 years old, she went back to China in order to begin her acting training in The Beijing Film Institure for two years.
