Claudio Fäh's latest film NORTHMEN - A VIKING SAGA will be released in the US by Starz/Anchor Bay in August 2015 on the heels of a successful theatrical run across Europe and Asia in late 2014. The global cast includes Tom Hopper (Black Sails, Merlin), Ryan Kwanten (True Blood, The Right Kind of Wrong), Charlie Murphy (Philomena, '71) and up and coming British star Ed Skrein (Transporter 4, Statham's replacement in the reboot of the franchise, Game of Thrones). The epic adventure saga also features Ken Duken (Das Adlon, Inglorious Basterds), Anatole Taubman (Quantum of Solace, The Tudors), Screen International Star of Tomorrow James Norton (Rush, Belle) as well as Johan Hegg, lead-singer of world-famous Heavy Metal band Amon Amarth.Before NORTHMEN, Fäh directed and produced a number of movies for Sony's Stage 6 Films (HOLLOW MAN 2, STARSHIP TROOPERS: MARAUDER, SNIPER: RELOADED), earning two nominations for a Saturn Award.He also produced legendary director Joe Dante's film THE HOLE, starring Haley Bennett, Nathan Gamble, Teri Polo and Bruce Dern. The movie won the award for best 3D movie at the Venice International Film Festival and was in the official selection of the Toronto International Film Festival.For CBS and Sander/Moses Productions Fäh directed the award-winning original web series GHOST WHISPERER: THE OTHER SIDE, a scripted online companion series to CBS's Ghost Whisperer. The web series was the winner of the TV Guide Online Award for 'Best Online TV Drama'. CBS quickly followed up with a second season, also directed by Fäh.Produced on a shoe string budget in 2003, CORONADO, featuring John Rhys-Davies, was Fäh's feature film debut as a director and co-writer. The movie sold successfully to 35 countries and was acquired for domestic release by DEJ Distribution.Prior to his feature career, Fäh has directed several short films for which we was awarded numerous international awards including the 'Young Spielberg Award' at Fast Video Competition, the 'Gold Medal' at the JVC Tokyo Film Festival, 3 time 'Finalist Award' at the Worldfest Houston, 'Prix des Industries Techniques' at the Filmfestival Geneva, 'Filmfluss Award' Zurich, etc...).
