Claire van Beek was born in Christchurch, New Zealand. She is an actress who studied at Toi Whakaari: NZ Drama School. She has performed at The Globe Theatre, London as a member of the NZ Young Shakespeare Company and studied under Joan Scheckel (L.A) and Susan Batson (Black Nexxus Inc, New York).
