Charles "Cj" Sykes was born in Kaiserslautern, Germany; Cj landed his first film role in the Emmy Winning movie Bessie directed by Dee Rees.At 15 he began taking professional acting class in Atlanta, Ga. Determined to be a serious contender in the industry he signed to one of Atlanta's biggest agencies while attending school at Morehouse College for Theater.CJ guest starred on CBS' The Inspectors as frat president Omar well as the pilot episode of TV One's Born Again Virgin as Evan. Aside from his role in the Emmy winning film Bessie he also appeared in the TV One film Stock Option.He has also found success in the commercial world. Landing his first commercial with McDonald's back in 2011 with Mike Epps and rapper Lil Jon. He also has done commercials for Reebok, Sonic, Fanta, Jack's and most recently a national McDonald's commercial.CJ Sykes has trained since middle school to become one of the most diverse and talented actors in his demographic. With experience in voiceover, TelePrompTer, green screen, improv, TV and film he is well rounded and ready to tackle any project.
