Founder of Siege Productions, Producer/Actor/Director and an avid lover of film and entertainment.Born in Barnstaple, Devon, England on 8th August 1983. Studied Performance Art in North Devon and then moved to Sussex, England and graduated with a BA Theatre Arts degree with honors in 2012 from Brighton University. CJRevan is a qualified makeup and hair artist for theatre and film and is also very interested in SFX makeup, not to mention very passionate about latex. She took a turn in the final year of university and fell in love with film making, editing, creating entertainment.CJRevan has been a supporting artiste in many films since 2008 but wishes to get more involved with acting and directing films. As a relatively new film director with only two shorts under her belt with Christopher Wren Builds a Cathedral 2014 by Tom Weston, and Hostage 2014 by Dick Douglass. She hopes to expand her knowledge and be a platform for those who wish to be involved, to entertain and inspire."Directing films is much more rewarding for me, to see the entire project in the final stages, knowing that you created this piece of visual moving art is awe inspiring."With CJRevan's background in visual crafts, makeup and SFX she hopes to reinstate the importance of hands on skill and craft work rather than using CGI for everything. Also, she aims to focus on gender equality in roles and stories which all have their stereotyping in film and entertainment whether people are awake to this or not. She wishes to push past the programmed 'normalities' and include everyone, regardless of their gender, in a fair and equal way.Another of CJRevan's goals is to build up her production company, Siege Productions, which its main focus is to give those people who have the passion, the dedication, the skill and the ability to work well in a group regardless if they have qualifications or the professional experience, the chance to work on a film project, whether great or small with other experienced team members.In her spare time CJRevan makes sci-fi costumes and is a member of a few professional costuming groups that raise money for charity by donning these epic creations of well known characters and crowd acting all throughout the year at a mixture of events.
