Christopher was born in York, England, to Richard Adamson who is English and from a small market town called Selby and Caroline Adamson who is Scottish and from Huntly, Aberdeenshire. Christopher grew up in Selby and attended St Mary's Catholic Primary school where Christopher first took an interest in acting after taking part in the school nativity play and started to take acting classes outside of school at around the age of eight and then joined StageCoach stagecoach.co.uk/.He then moved on to The Holy Family Catholic High School, Carlton. During this time Christopher was also making amateur movies with a group of local friends filmed on one of their parents camcorders based loosely on films around at the time. Christopher continued with acting classes with different groups and then had the opportunity to audition for and join the National Youth Music Theatre nymt.org.uk. Here over two years he received training and workshops on singing, dancing and acting. At high School Christopher studied Drama, acted in every stage performance and was also a member of the school choir.After finishing high school Christopher attended York Sixth Form College and continued to study acting by taking an A-Level in Theatre Studies. Unsure exactly over what educational direction to take, Christopher took the next six years studying A-levels in English Lit, English Language, Law, History, Computing, Physics, Psychology, Sociology, Photography and Media Studies, finally choosing History which he then studied at York St John's University before transferring to Leeds Met University.During his time at university Christopher was able to continue with some acting in the musical production society at York St Johns and also acted in some of his brothers student films. While at Leeds Met Christopher joined the Officer Training Corps (OTC) and received basic infantry training, weapons handling with the SA80 A2 L85 Assault Rifle and leadership/command training.After leaving University without graduating, Christopher worked in a variety of sales jobs and IT before moving to Prague to start work teaching English as a second language. Here he was able to get back into acting by working with several theatre companies and performing in a number of productions.Christopher landed his first onscreen TV appearance in Knightfall a Medieval historical fictional drama based on the Knights Templars where he played Lead Man at Arms/Oliver.Christopher now resides in Prague, Czech Republic Show less «
