Career Audio Radio guy morphed into an Austin-based screenwriter (and now actor/director) July 7, 2018. --- Dad (was a bad ass WWII Fighter Pilot, P-51) taught me film developing with a Leica Camera he got from his dad. Been taking photos ever since. --- Wrote, Produced, and Directed a 20 minute short for my high school senior prom. Huge hit. Then life happened. Got back into photos when digital exploded and have been addicted ever since. Took courses at Southern Methodist on screenwriting and realized the opportunity for a whole new career. The demand for video product has exploded. But it ALL starts with a good story. That is where I come in. --- In my prior life, I had been a radio-event-digital marketing account manager for over 24 years with CBS/Entercom/Audacity. Now instead of selling commercial products to target audiences, I create engaging stories (based on real people) to entertain and share the common human experiences of personal growth and doing the right thing regardless of the consequences. --- In Feb 2021, my acting career was launched. Was cast in "Walker" as a recurring actor three times (E 5,10,16). 2 of which made the final cuts and hit the screen. Also worked in "Walker" Season 2 in E1,3,7, and 9. Netflix cast me in a feature film ("Plus-Minus) as a "LA Pool Party Goer". On Oct 9, 2021 worked under Sam Elliot (with 200 other extras) in Fort Worth Texas in the Paramount+ smash hit series "1883" (S1 E4). Cast in a TV commercial for Aspen Dental as an "Upscale Businessman". --- In August, 2021 I starred in my speaking debut as the lead in three scenes for a multimedia bio-documentary film by Syntaur Productions, New Braunfels, Texas. . Episode 11. I took 19 weeks of acting classes from Austin Community College. Taking my "Walker" Western and "1883" roles more seriously I have finished (and still continuing) over 20 private riding lessons to add veracity to my equestrian skills to my resume. --- In March 2022 I was cast as co-lead in a film short "Two" in a dialogue intensive role. Also in March, 2022 land a strong supporting speaking role a "Curly Belle" (bad guy) in the indie film "Reina of the West" (Cross Network). Debuting in December 2022 in Houston. --- Loved riding so much I signed up for a Montana-Wyoming for real 50 mile "Spring Cattle Drive" adventure in May 2022. Made a documentary of my experience and it won 3rd in documentaries in June 2022 at the Alamo City Film Festival. Earned my "director" credit with my first film. On You Tube. 27 minutes under "Spring Cattle Drive". --- In September, 2022 I was cast in a brand new Music Video, "Way Down Yonder", by Country Artist Chase Rice in Fort Worth. They made me the feature actor/stuntman which got me shot 20 times and thrown across a card table. I lived but had a sore elbow for a week. Still in post. Should be out in October or November. So much fun. Also did an 2 day shoot for a Techno Music Video, "Cage". Still in post as of Sept 2022. --- USAF Veteran. Cancer Survivor. Family has 4 generations of consecutive military service. My daughter and husband are USAF active duty in San Antonio. Show less «
