Christopher Cleveland is an award-winning screenwriter and author, whose nominations and awards include the Humanitas Prize, the Black Reelz Award, the Movieguide Award, the ESPY Award. He was the founder and artistic director of the Redwood Conservatory Theatre, where he directed acclaimed productions ranging from Sophocles to Mamet. He studied film at Art Center College of Design.Cleveland has since collaborated with such Oscar®-winning artists as Michael Mann, Robert De Niro, Robert Zemeckis, Denzel Washington, Barbra Streisand, Christian Bale, Norman Jewison, Taylor Hackford, Jeffrey Katzenberg, William Friedkin, Jerry Bruckheimer, John Malkovitch, Isabelle Huppert, and Martin Campbell. His films include Jerry Bruckheimer's "Glory Road" and "The Hurricane," for which Denzel Washington won the Golden Globe®, as well as Disney's "McFarland, USA" starring Kevin Costner, which has won the Cesar Chavez Legacy Award and the Most Moving Pictures Award.
