Christina was born in Guangzhou, China, but immigrated to the U.S. at the age of one and grew up in Rowland Heights, CA. She has a B.A. in Communication from the University of Southern California and also speaks Cantonese and a little bit of Spanish. Her love of performing and acting began at the young age of four, where she would get up to perform any time there was an opportunity to be onstage. Where there wasn't a stage, she would makeshift her own. Spending much of her after-school hours at her dad's garment factory in Chinatown, she would flip over a tub, stand on it, and sing "Happy Birthday" for the dozens of employees there. She was taught piano for 11 years and started taking acting classes, auditioning, and involving herself in all her high school theater productions. However, it wasn't until after graduating from USC and she didn't know what to do with her life, did she decide to make the leap and pursue acting seriously. Since then, she has completed a two-year Meisner program with Alex Taylor at The Taylor School of Acting and is most known for her role in The Black String, starring Frankie Muniz, and Eat Drink Boy Girl, a modern take on Ang Lee's Eat Drink Man Woman.
