Actor and model Christian Tyler was born Christian Scott Tyler on December 11, 1989, in South Ogden, Utah to Michelle and Walter Tyler. Ethnically ambiguous, Tyler's parents are of black, white, and Native American descent. He is the second oldest of three children. After the divorce of his parents, Tyler says he began to use movies as his outlet on life. Originally pursuing his dream of being an NBA player, he decided to take the advice of a close friend and take up acting himself by receiving a Bachelor in Theater Arts from Utah Valley University, where he portrayed historical Civil Rights leader Malcolm X in the stage production Dialogues. After acting in school plays and student films, Tyler auditioned and won the role of Martin in Christmas Under Wraps, his first feature film. As a model, Tyler has worked for companies such as Abercrombie and Fitch, Reebok, and LimeRicki Swimwear to name a few. Tyler is a long-time volunteer of the Boys and Girls Club, and owns an entertainment company under the name of CSTActing LLC.
