Chris was born and raised in Charlestown, Massachusetts. He holds two degrees from the University of Massachusetts at Boston where he was also selected to participate in the Playwriting and Performance Program on Nantucket. By night, he began performing stand-up comedy in clubs, dorms, and Chinese restaurants throughout Boston.As his stand-up work evolved, Chris along with his brother David, became known for their performances as the Walsh Brothers. Through their stand-up, sketch, and videos the brothers won numerous "Best of Boston" awards and were chosen to perform at HBO's U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado. Upon their return home from the festival, the brothers were honored by Boston City Council as "Hilarious Sons of Boston."After moving to Los Angeles, Chris became a paid regular at The Comedy Store and frequented The Improv. He co-wrote a monthly variety show at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, and in 2013, Chris co-created, co-wrote, and starred in the cult Comedy Central Digital series The Great & Secret Comedy Show.In 2014, Chris was cast as an animated monkey in the Annie Award-nominated pilot Back to Backspace for Cartoon Network. From 2019 to 2021, Chris wrote for the Netflix animated series Hello Ninja. In 2021, Chris had a stand-out performance in a GEICO commercial, Lining the Field, delivering the memorable line, "Carl! What have you done?!"Summer of 2022, Chris is set to appear in the feature film "Fourth of July."
