Chris Thigpen is an actor, filmmaker, writer, improviser, & comedian.As an immigrant, Chris has always had dreams of becoming an actor. He was born in Olongapo, Philippines, and moved to the United States when he was 4 years old. He was later nationalized as a US citizen with the help of his military father. When Chris became of age, he also joined the military to serve his country.After leaving the military, he resided In Reno, Nevada where has worked with Reno's first improv company, Reno Improv. Chris later joined as a board member in 2018. Chris has performed with improv groups such as Ghost, All Things Reconsidered, and Doormat Spirit.Chris also has worked on several short film projects while in Reno and became a member of a short film collective group called the Reno Film Collective where he was an actor, filmmaker, and writer.Starting his comedy career on the stage of Reno Tahoe Comedy, Chris later took his fresh and interesting take on LGBT and married life climbing his way to perform at Laugh Cellar in Sonoma (In the Vineyard), Oakland Comedy, Northern Nevada Pride, Stay Silly Comedy, Crazy Rich Wines, Truckee Comedy, and Dead Panda Comedy. He's performed alongside many comedians such as Chaunte Wayans, Jill Kimmel, Kevin Farley, Helen Hong, Will Durst, Ron Josol, Kibir Singh, Aida Rodriguez, and Aidan Park to name a few. As a contestant on There Goes The Neighborhood, Chris won second place and performed at the historical Cobbs Comedy Club in San Francisco. Show less «
