Chris Hill Sr. was born in 1965 and raised in Seattle, Washington. He is the son of Edmond Clarence Hill of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Ethel Louise Downing-Hill of Kansas City, Missouri. He has five siblings. One sister, Justina Marie, and four brothers, Edmond Carl, James Reginald, Charles Darby, and Percy Adam. He attended John Muir Elementary, Asa Mercer Junior High, and Ingraham High Schools in the city of Seattle, Washington. Immediately after high school Chris Hill Sr. joined the U.S. Navy and served four honorable years as a egress environmental cryogenics technician on S3-A aircraft on-board the U.S.S. Constellation CV-64 where he earned the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal as well as a Good Conduct Medal. He was discharged honorably in 1988. Chris Hill Sr. has two children. Chris Jr., and LaChrisha. In August, 2015 he made his acting debut in Vice Principals (Spring 2016) as a slaughterhouse employee. He continued to feed his acting bug by many recurring appearances throughout the completion of season two which wrapped production in November, 2016.
