Chloe Elizabeth Lukasiak is a dancer, an actress and a model. Born in May 2001, she was raised in Churchill (Pittsburgh), PA. Since 2014, she has lived in Mars, PA with her parents, Marc and Christi, and sister Clara. The family also maintains an apartment in Los Angeles due to her many commitments there. Her father works in marketing at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.Chloe began dancing at age 2, competing from age 4 to 13 for the Abby Lee Dance Company. Her titles include: 2011 National Miss Small Fry (Dance Educators of America), 2011 Junior Miss Dance of Pennsylvania (DMA), and 2012 National Junior Miss Energy (Energy Dance Competition). She also competed two numbers (musical theatre and ballet) in the 2011 Philadelphia YAGP Semi-Finals, placing in the top 12 in the Pre-Competitive division.From age 9 to 13, Chloe was an original cast member of the reality dance show "Dance Moms," appearing in seasons 1-4. From the first episode, Chloe's sweet and modest nature, along with her natural balletic talent, won her many fans throughout the world. During her time on the show, she portrayed young Lux in the music video "It's Like Summer" and appeared in co-star Brooke Hyland's music video, "Summer Love Song." She also modeled, won several special competition awards, and appeared on talk shows such as "The View," "Katie," "Showbiz Tonight," and "Anderson Cooper." Throughout the series, she competed over 45 solos, as well as many duets and trios and most group dances. Conflict between her mother and Abby Lee Miller created a hostile environment, and Chloe left the show in 2014.After leaving "Dance Moms" and the Abby Lee Dance Company in 2014, Chloe continued her dance training at Studio 19 Dance Complex near Pittsburgh, joining their award-winning competition team for the 2014/2015 season. Although she no longer competes, she still takes class 20-25 hours per week in multiple dance genres in addition to privates, according to her teacher and studio owner. She was a demonstrator and assistant for Blake McGrath in the VIP Dance Events convention of Oct. 2014, then joined the Triple Threat Tour as a guest performer and assistant for several dance conventions in 2015/2016.In Sept. 2014, Chloe became a spokes-model for Just for Kix, a national dance wear company, partnering with them for an anti-bullying video and campaign called #NobodyIsYou. Since the age of 10, she has modeled for several other companies, such as 90 Degrees of Reflex, Oxyjen,Tutu DuMonde, Cicci's Costumes, Sally Miller, and GoodHyouman. In 2016 she walked the runway for Max Azria BCBG, entered into a partnership with Cover Girl, and filmed a web series about fashion called "ReadySetStyle" (available in 2017 on awesomeness.TV).In 2015, Chloe was cast in a supporting role in "Center Stage: On Pointe," the third movie in the popular "Center Stage" dance movie series. She learned how to do partner ballet work for the role. Following this, she was cast as a supporting actress in the Bailee Madison movie "A Cowgirl's Story," the lead in a science-fiction thriller called "Loophole" and a horror movie called "Children of the Dead," all set for release in 2017. She has also filmed a guest appearance on the web-series "Welcome To My World" and a TV promo for NBC's "Super Store." She also filmed a dance-themed promotional spot for Playtex Active.Chloe's dance and television career has earned her a huge social media following with millions of fans on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube. She recently started a vlog series in addition to her popular YouTube channel and has filmed two seasons of dance instruction and personal videos for her Ownzones channel. She has filmed several DIY, challenge, tour, and Q&A videos inviting fans into her personal life. Additionally, she has shared with fans over a dozen professionally-filmed dance videos, and several dance tutorials on her Youtube and Ownzone channels, as well as being cast and starring in eight dance videos by other artists from 2014-2016.In August 2015 she won a Teen Choice Award for Choice Dancer and Favorite Dancer 17 and Under Award at the Industry Dance Awards. She consistently wins magazine and Internet polls about dancing and fashion, among them the CelebMix 2016 Best Dancer contest. She was asked to the United Nations in 2016 along with other youth as as part of their Day of Peace. She also contributed a piece detailing her experience with overcoming bullying in the book "Ignite!", published in December 2016.Chloe is an honor student who loves to read, bake, and relax with friends when she's not dancing, modeling, or acting. In addition to her dance training, she keeps fit with yoga and fitness boxing.
