Cherif Gacis is an actor born in San Diego, California. When he was a year old, his family moved to Mexico City where he learned Spanish and lived there until his family relocated to San Antonio, Texas at age 11. He studied theater his Senior year at James Madison High School, then followed up with beginning acting and theater courses his Freshman year at the University of the Incarnate Word, and continued with more fine arts courses his Sophomore year at Texas State University. He began his acting career with NBC's Friday Night Lights in Austin while pursuing his Masters in Business Administration, and has gradually worked on further projects with NBC, ABC, HBO, Warner Brothers Studios, and AMC.
