Charlie Vox (a.k.a Charlene M. Gilliam) is a New Jersey native. She is featured in the movie "Lit" and is also a featured artist/composer on the "Soul Plane" soundtrack. Charlie has collectively sold upwards of over 8 million records worldwide. Like most soul singers, she started singing in the church choir. While recording and shopping songs for her demo, record executives quickly took notice of her songwriting talent.
