Chandan Anand is an actor by Profession , Based in Mumbai India. He believes acting starts the day you are born and it was the same for him as well. He turned his passion into his profession very early just after finishing high school in 1997. Drawn to the theater he started working with two of the most prolific theater companies in New Delhi (The breeding ground for the best thespians of India)- 'Asmita' and 'Act One'. The two directors that he had a chance to work with- Arvind Gaur and N.K. Sharma honed his skills as he essayed many prominent roles in well known Hindi plays like 'Court Martial', 'Tara', 'Final Solutions', 'Romeo Juliet', 'Warren Hastings ka Saand'He moved to Mumbai in the year 2004 & soon debuted in 'Kaafila' along with the superstar Sunny Deol. It was followed by meaty roles in films like 'Aloo chaat' , 'Budget trip' , 'le le Meri jaan'.Along with films he has also acted in several television shows like Bhabhi, Yeh Pyar na hoga kam, Hatim and Dharamkshetra for leading television channels in India.He has also acted in more than 200 TV Commercials for leading brands like: Suzuki, Future Genrali, Prefiti, Volkswagen, Dettol, Pepsi, Coke, Mountain Dew, Electrolux, Wechat , Idbi wealth insurance, Nation wide, MRF etc.Parched is his first breakthrough film in the international cinema directed by Leena A.
