The third of four children, Cedric Gegel grew up dancing, singing, and performing skits with his siblings in Wapakoneta, Ohio, as well as watching classic TV shows like I Love Lucy and The Andy Griffith Show. He graduated from Wapakoneta High School in 2013 and, after initially studying to be a high school English teacher, from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio in 2017 with degrees in Theatre Studies and Public Relations.Cedric has made his mark as a strong comedic and dramatic actor in both stage and film. He also co-founded Just a Skosh Productions with Zach Throne, and under that company's banner, wrote, directed, and co-executive produced his debut feature film, the indie family fantasy "Cadia: The World Within," which released in 2020. He also wrote the screenplay for the August 2022 cancer drama "Forbearance," in which he also appears in a supporting role.Cedric also runs a YouTube channel with over 30,000 subscribers where he analyzes music videos and live performances to educate viewers on storytelling, cinematography, editing, acting, production design, and vocal technique.
