Catherine Uram is an American actress and physician, born in New York, New York, and raised in Red Bank, New Jersey. She is the daughter of Susan Greenberg, an oncologist, and Martin Uram, a retina surgeon. She is the older of two siblings, her brother Jesse is a talent agent. She began acting as a child in the theater, receiving formal training at Choate Rosemary Hall and Reed College, where she also began directing theater and film. She received an M.D. and post-graduate training from Drexel University College of Medicine and the University of Arizona. Catherine Uram currently serves as an actor, director, and producer.
