Catalina Garayoa is a first generation American actress living in Denver, Colorado. Her parents immigrated to the U.S. from Mexico and Chile in the early 90's in the hopes of a better life. Catalina grew up bilingual her whole life and prides herself for her roots. She has been performing since the young age of eight and hasn't stopped ever since. She got her bachelors in Performing Arts (Theatre) at the University of Colorado Boulder in 2018 and continues to work and learn more about the industry. She is most known for her role of Rebecca in The Social Dilemma directed by Jeff Orlowski which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival 2020. One of her favorite projects was a lead role in a short film created by a non profit organization called SAFE Rockies, directed by John DeYoung which helped bring awareness to the sex trafficking situation in Denver.
