Cas Enklaar was a Dutch actor and writer. In 1968 he graduated from the Toneelschool Amsterdam. After that he was associated with theater companies such as Toneelgroep Centrum, Het Werkteater, Toneelgroep Baal and Toneelgroep Amsterdam. In addition, he played in television productions such as 'Pleidooi' (1993-1995) and 'Koefnoen' (2004-2009) and in feature films including Camping, Back to Oegstgeest and AmnesiA. Enklaar was also part of the permanent team of director Theo van Gogh, and played in A day at the beach, Back to Oegstgeest, Loos, False light, Medea, Baby Blue and In the interest of the state. Enklaar published the book Houses and Memories in 2008. A search through more than 40 years of Amsterdam about his nocturnal experiences in Amsterdam. He died at july the 20th 2022, in Amsterdam.
