Carter Boehm is an executive producer. Carter began his career in the film industry at an early age, serving as an audio technician for a film titled "Ask Now the Beast." During his time in the Vietnam war, he worked as an audio sound mixer and specialist in Washington D.C., assisting in both the White House and Pentagon, for both the President and visiting dignitaries.Carter Boehm then took his passion for film, his managerial experience and his business acumen and entered the film industry as an executive producer. He founded the production company Ponderosa Films and has been producing ever since. Although his company is still young, he has already produced the film Broken Ghost, and has several other films in the works.Ponderosa Films was originally Carter's father's production company. The studios specialized in feature films as well as documentaries. In order to honor his father's legacy and heritage, Carter Boehm decided to take the name Ponderosa films for his own production company and create the best films he possibly could.Outside of his work in the film industry, Carter is also a successful land developer. As a principal member of the HC Land Company, Carter's company focuses on purchasing, planning, financing and developing land throughout the Northern Virginia area.Carter hopes to continue to produce high-quality films, learn about the intricacies of the film industry and to grow his production company into a household name.Carter Boehm is the executive producer of the upcoming film Robert the Bruce, due out in June 2019. The film is a sequel to the 1995 hit Braveheart, following Robert the Bruce as he rises to prominence in Scotland. Additionally, Carter is a founding member of the Yellowstone Film Ranch, a new, cutting-edge film set designed specifically to allow for year-round access to a high-quality Western-themed set. Featuring a historically-accurate town and removable set pieces, Yellowstone Film Ranch is setting up to be one of Hollywood's greatest resources. It is still under construction in Montana.
