Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, doctors as well as composers (her great-uncle was Juan Arrondo who wrote the lyrics to many beautiful boleros), Carolina, or as she is often referred to-Caro, felt her passion was in the arts.As a child she would perform for her family and friends, either by singing or acting out in a variety of characters. She has always loved acting and singing, as well as technical art. The art world is where Caro calls home.Caro, attended Florida International University where she received her Bachelors in Fine Arts in Theatre, in the fall of 2010. During her enrollment at FIU, Caro made use of her summer breaks and attended various programs and workshops such as: NYU's Tisch Cap21 summer program, New York Film Academy for Acting and Dolphin Entertainment Acting workshops. She has performed in various plays, musicals, and independent films as well as commercials, t.v. segments, and fashion shows. When not on stage or in front of a camera, you can find Caro working behind the scenes. She is skilled at building sets for productions, electrics, and make-up artist for both stage and film. Caro has also been involved in song/script writing.Post graduating, she continued her training with Marc Durso, in Act True: Uta Hagen Acting Method, along with Film Acting workshops with, Lori Wyman, and private vocal coaching with, Jeannette Hopkins. Her most recent performance credits include; The Off-Broadway Productions of "The Donkey Show: A Midsummer Nights Disco" as 'Dmitriy/Vinnie', written by Diane Paulus, director Allegra Libonati . This August finished the first tour of " The Amazing Adventures of Dr. Wonderful and her Dog", as 'Mom', written by Lauren Gunderson, music Brian Lowdermilk, director Jeff Revels. This past October, she performed in, The Marvelous Wonderettes , as Cindy Lou. Currently she's back on tour for the second time with, City Theatre and Orlando Rep. for " The Amazing Adventures of Dr. Wonderful and her Dog", as 'Mom', while also reviving her one woman show,"Follow the Yellow Brick Road", based on the life of Judy Garland, and singing part time at the newest and hottest venue in South Beach, "The Cabaret" located on 12th and Washington.Because Caro could not "stomach" being a doctor like most of her family members, she feels strongly that through her voice and movement she could be the medicine, for the heart.
