Her indie short "The Learning Curve" was the Grand Prize Winner at 2013 New Media Film Festival, starring Criminal Minds regular Matthew Gray Gubler.Carla has been seen and/or heard in numerous commercials, Broadway shows, with the most recent being "Gary Coleman" (yes, that Gary Coleman) in the Tony Award Winning musical "Avenue Q".She is a film critic/blogger for UBNRadio.com, freelancer for NPR and member of (AAFCA) African American Film Critics Association.
