Carl was born in Guernsey in the Channel Islands and is a graduate of the BA (Hons) Film Studies degree at Sheffield Hallam University.At only age 22 he raised the finances to make a documentary about the Occupation of the Channel Islands in World War 2, In Toni's Footsteps, which has gone on to retail all over the world on DVD. Between 2000 and 2004 Carl ran High Tide Productions with his long-time friend Jonathan Hickman. High Tide produced a series of paintball documentaries, the Pressure DVD series, to great acclaim within the paintball sports community. He also won the Audience Choice Award in 2005 for the music video "Love At First Sight" as part of the South Yorkshire Filmmakers Network's 2 Weeks to Make It competition.After a few years away from filming, Carl moved into digital media as a profession becoming a director of the internationally renowned digital agency Made Media and is based full-time in Birmingham. Though filming is his past-time passion, he is working on a number of short and feature ideas as well as taking part in his local drama scene with Rubery Drama Group. Show less «
