Candice Liang, MBA, is a Chinese, multi-lingual island girl living in Honolulu, Hawaii. She is working on her PhD program in Psychology while teaching undergrads as a graduate teaching assistant in Washington, D.C. Candice has made a lot of interesting life decisions that have led her to this point with NAKED AND AFRAID OF LOVE. Candice is a title holder of Miss Aloha State 2016, Miss Bikini Hawaii USA 2017, IJM Miss Hawaii 2017, Miss Ocean 2018 and Miss Great Aloha Run USA 2019. Additionally, she has previously worked for the Olympics, as an advocate with the United Nations doing humanitarian work, and has helped to facilitate and provide opportunities for young generations with various NGOs. She served as an international volunteer teaching English in Sri Lanka, as well as a translator in hospital cancer centers. Candice enjoys singing, dancing, playing the piano, spending quality time with family, traveling, exploring different cultures and eating great food. A self-described 'dreamer and peace-maker,' Candice credits her life-changing experience in the Philippines for bringing out her wild and free spirit while learning how to truly love and embrace the vulnerable, imperfect, flawed, quirky, weird but honest, real and magical self. She hopes to make a difference and leave a positive impact on the world while sharing her love and aloha spirit everywhere she goes. Show less «
