Caitlynn Leary decided to be an actor at age five when she saw the film "Forrest Gump", believing that movies can change the world. As a child she wrote, directed and produced her own movies starring her neighborhood friends, family members, pets and Barbies. She acted in every high school production in her small town of Jefferson, Ohio.Caitlynn graduated cum laude from The University of North Carolina Wilmington. She received a Bachelor of the Arts Degree in Theatre with a performance focus and a Bachelor of the Fine Arts Degree in Creative Writing. In college Caitlynn was in four University Shows: "Scapino", "Dead Man's Cellphone", "Waiting for Godot" and " Troy Women". She received the Kathleen Price Bryan Theatre Scholarship twice.While in college, Caitlynn juggled three jobs, rehearsal hours, school work and going on auditions...determined that her sacrifices would lead to her big break. One of her jobs during college was giving tours of Screen Gems Studios and the sets of the CW show "One Tree Hill". In her senior year she worked part time as receptionist at the studio and met Producer, Bill Hill who saw potential in her.Caitlynn's first break into the industry as an actor was on the hit HBO show "Veep" where she played a waitress in a scene with Reid Scott and Peter Grosz.
