Bridget McGuinness was born in Nantucket, MA, to John McGuinness, a high school history teacher, and Mary (Fee), an elementary librarian. McGuinness has a younger sister, Kathryn. At a young age, McGuinness was always singing around the house and putting on shows. By the age of 10, McGuinness knew she wanted to be an actress. McGuinness did many plays growing up but it wasn't until she was a junior in high school that she decided she wanted to act in film and television. So McGuinness signed up for acting classes in Boston and traveled every weekend for five months with her dad for classes. That same year, McGuinness won a statewide competition and got to sing with Kelly Clarkson. McGuinness' passion for acting kept growing and now is majoring in film at Suffolk University. McGuinness is very driven and has been since a young age. McGuinness knew that this business is tough but she never gave up and when she heard no that only made her work harder. McGuinness is very well liked by her peers and is considered to have strong leadership skills. Taking the acting classes in Boston and the traveling helped McGuinness learn her lines at fast pace, wake up early and to get used to traveling for work. McGuinness' acting experiences include "That's My Boy" (2012) as a Wedding Guest, "The Forger" (2014) as a Club Goer; "The Grey Lady" (2014) has an extra, and "Chicago Fire" (2014) as an Apartment Resident. McGuinness also worked as a production assistant on "The Grey Lady." What McGuinness wants to accomplish is making films or television shows that will bring raw emotion to an audience. Having the audience truly feel your performance is what McGuinness wants for her career.
