With a foundation in Gospel music, Bridget got an early start at the age of five by singing in several church groups and choirs. She was born in Farmville, Va as Adrien Bridget Carrington. She graduated from Prince Edward County school system where most of her high school career was spent singing the Star Spangled Banner for most of the basketball games & the school alma mater for the football games. After graduating, Carrington attended Norfolk State University.Bridget traveled with Tim Reid and sang background vocals for the live showing of his 2002 production For Real (2003). In 2006 she appeared as a contestant on the Inspiration Networks "Christian Artist Talent Search" where she made it to the semi-final round. In Feb. 2012, she dared to venture into the acting realm and scored a leading role in Redemption Productions stage play "He Loves Me, She Loves Me Not".In May 2012, Bridget was selected by Grammy award winner, John Legend to compete with him in ABC's singing competition Duets (2012). The nine episode season aired weekly and at the end of each episode one contestant was eliminated. Bridget's vocal ability, stage presence and charisma afforded her the opportunity to perform with Legend on eight episodes and she ultimately took 4th place by the end of the competition.Bridget then joined the cast of "The Original USA Gospel Singers Tour" in 2013 performing throughout Germany. Shortly after her return to the U.S. in 2014, she appear in BET's popular talent showcase Music Matters.After being given the opportunity to showcase her talent to millions, Bridget is more than ready to take her music and acting careers to the next level.
