Brian Pitt manages and implements all aspects of budgeting and scheduling, tax incentive management & monetizing, as well as oversees the day-to-day elements of each phase of production on a film. From approving potential hires and negotiating union contracts, to acting as the liaison between production companies and state organizations, Pitt's attention to detail and management ability have afforded him the opportunity to excel in the industry.In his college years, Pitt was both a successful professional golf instructor and corporate sponsored JetSki Racer. It was during this period of time that Pitt developed and honed his management skills while managing a 26-acre golf facility in New Jersey. After earning two degrees in Business with concentrations in Events Management and Marketing, Pitt left the world of sports and shifted his career focus to film production.Since his first internship, Pitt has successfully worked through the ranks of the industry and has earned respect in various roles including 1st Assistant Director, Production Manager, Producer, Line Producer, and Head of Production. Over the years, he has proven his production management skills on U.S. productions as well as productions in Holland, Belgium, France, Mexico, Peru, Cayman, and the islands of the Bahamas. Pitt's vast knowledge of the industry and unique skill set led him to be chosen to head up production consulting for Orleans Studios, a state of the art studio complex scheduled to be built in New Orleans. Pitt has contributed to commercials, television and feature film projects for production companies such as HBO, MGM, Lionsgate, Sony, 20th Century Fox, Lifetime, MTV, Disney, NBC, CBS, and others. No stranger to managing big names, and even bigger budgets, Pitt has worked hand-in-hand with celebrities including Michael Keaton, Laurence Fishburne, Kathy Bates, Billy Bob Thornton, Brendan Frazer and Phillip Seymour Hoffman. When not engaged on a production, Brian is a guest lecturer at various educational facilities speaking about physical film production and state tax incentives, enjoys mentoring teenagers and young adults through Vision Film Development, his creation that encourages and motivates talented, young artists in the industry. Brian also lends his expert organizational skills to a field studies program for high school students and travels around the world helping to educate the next generation about global awareness and environmental concerns.
