Born in Red Deer, Alberta and raised in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. He won his first acting award at the age of 18 in the Antigonish One-Act Play Festival receiving the Most Outstanding Performer Award, with a broken foot and never having stood once during the entire run of the play.In 2011, he received industry recognition for his work with the sketch troupe Picnicface through their critically acclaimed series on the Bellmedia owned station The Comedy Network. During the 2012 Canadian Comedy Awards he won awards in the categories of Best Writing for TV, Best Ensemble and Best TV Series.Slated to work on the Teletoon animation Rocket Monkeys, Brian quit the production and Picnicface, "retiring" from comedy and acting to pursue other pursuits such as being a healthy-mind Mental Health advocate and fighting for quality equal rights.In 2013, through support from Dalhousie University and the NDP Nova Scotia, Provincial, Government Brian was able to put on free to the public improv classes geared towards improving individuals self esteems and mental health.Brian has made appearances on Schitt's Creek, Seed, Off the Record with Michael Landsberg.He officially made is return to acting and comedy starring as Warren in the indi-comedy Your Money or Your Wife, where Brian received praise for breaking out of his Picnicface mold and reputation.In 2015 he began referring to himself as the biblical 'Messiah' stating 'Jesus stole his gig long before anyone else started stealing material.' In 2016 Brian began courting American 'Sweetheart' Jennifer Lawrence to no avail. Brian always keeps busy with a plethora of projects. Brian likes giving and receiving hugs and you should feel free to say "hi" to him as long as you're respectful.
