Brensten Lindsey was born overseas on Misawa Air Force Base in Japan. His father served 23 years in the U.S. military and raised him and his sister in Southern California. Because of his unique military upbringing, Brensten was exposed to a lot of different forms of entertainment and different kinds of people and experiences from a young age. His love for acting and comedy was inspired by shows such as "In Living Color", "Martin", "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air", "Def Comedy Jam", "Comic View" and many more. Brensten was an athlete in high school and went on to play Division 1 football at Alabama State University. It was through sports that he found a spark and love for performing, entering a talent contest in both high school and college and winning them both. After graduating from college, Brensten worked odd jobs before finally finding his footing in the entertainment industry and began acting and performing stand-up in early 2020. Brensten has trained with Tasha Smith's Acting Workshop as well as with Lesly Kahn in Los Angeles. He most recently starred in "Devon's Day: A Juneteenth Story" which can be seen on streaming platforms BET+ and Bet Her.
