Brenda Luz Orellana is a Latinx-Queer actor, writer, director, and producer, born and raised in Los Angeles CA. Brenda has built her career playing strong, courageous, and deeply empathetic characters. In professional theatre, she has performed in "Alias Grace," "King Charles," "Hamlet," "Urinetown," "A Christmas Carol," "Madwoman of Chaillot," and "People Where They Are". Personal independent work include: "I am A Rose", "My Little Tomate" and "Sun Kissed Montañas". She is also a founding member and Co-Artistic Director of Hear Me Roar Theatre, a theatre dedicated to giving a platform to underrepresented minority playwrights and actors. Holds MFA from University of Tennessee Knoxville, and BA from CSU, Long Beach.
