Brenda Li Garcia was born in San Antonio, TX. She is a stage trained actress with great range. From sexy comic book villainesses to the dark twisted grandmother in Buchner's German tragedy, Woyzeck, she is able to bring characters to life. She has been active in the performing arts since she was very young as a Mexican Folkloric Dancer and Flamenco Dancer. She started acting in high school and began winning awards. She went on to perform in the International Theater Program at the University of Rochester in New York, under the direction of Mervyn Willis, where she was once described as the "shining light of the play" by critics. It's not uncommon for directors to expand her roles once they see her in action. Her talents and experiences are not limited to acting and dancing. She was admitted for courses in trumpet and piano at the prestigious Eastman School of Music, is fluent in Spanish and learns foreign languages with ease. She has also won awards for martial arts and marksmanship. Brenda received her BA in Health & Society from the University of Rochester in New York and her nursing license from the Baptist School of Health Professions in San Antonio, TX.
